In the winter of 2022, the Windows and Mirrors project focussed on prominent displays of books for children and young adults, specifically those found in local bookstores between 19 January and 24 January, 2022. Students catalogued books and their creators, as well as the stores in which the displays were found.
The purpose of the project was to determine the diversity of representation (race/ethnicity, gender, sexuality, disability) of both the books and their creators.
