Description

Iris and Malina’s family have magical abilities also known as “gleam” which manipulates beauty. This ability only applies to the women in the family. Iris has the power to see flowers as fractured images and turns these fragmented images into glasswork and Malina deciphers moods and emotions as music and harmony. Their mother has strict rules to keep their abilities a secret, as they are forbidden to share their magic with anyone. The most important rule is that they are forbidden to fall in love. When their mother is mysteriously attacked, both Iris and Malina must uncover their mother’s secrets and the dark curse that torments their family. Will they discover if their magic binds them together or will fate tear them apart forever?
