Collins is an award winning author which inlcude the 2016 Authors Guild Award for Distingushed Service to the Literary Community, the 2008 CYBIL Award for Fantasy and Science Fiction, and the KIRKUS Best Young Adult Book of 2008. She is best known for The Underland Chronicles and The Hunger Games series.
