The production won qualification for the Dominion Drama Festival in Victoria, British Columbia, where it was performed on 20 May 1966 at McPherson Playhouse. The adjudicator was Marius Goring. The show "took the award for the best production in English and won Stan Lacey the best supporting actor award for his portrayal of a chaplain in Brecht’s chronicle of the Thirty Years War. The prize was awarded by The Canadian Association of French-Language Radio and Television Stations.” (Brauckmann)
