Referring to your telegram of May 8 in clear.

The BANEUR NATIONALE informed me by a letter of March 23 that it was sending an order to the --U-- to pay 21,400,000 francs t. SCHIN-POULENG.

The entire shipment of 500 gas generators reached Bulgaria but because of the bombing of Sofia most of these machines remained in cars on side-tracks near the city and have just been unloaded in the (7 suburbs ?).

The importer is not in a position to arrange the total payment for this material. The next installment, the price of 100 machines, has been promised me for the last of May.
