in France of the COMPAGNIE ASLATIQUE DE NAVIGATION, informed
the department that they had at their disposal the sum paid
by the insurers on the loss of the LAUS in execution of Article
11/bie of the charter party. With a view to rendering a
decision, I beg you to inform me if you understand proceeding
with a plan for modifying this article, the subject of your
cable 10056a of 5 January and my 329a of 17 January.

DELIS FRENES (with reference to your telegram #10767
of 16 June a) have just placed at my disposal the full amount
of the indemnification paid by the ASSUREURS DE RISQUES DE MER
in connection with the loss of the TRAN RIBE, which is 15,000,000
france. Consequently I am having the sum thus paid by the subpo-
cienter received in the name of the colony.

The same has been done for the full amount of the in-
deminification of the LAUS, as set forth in my sublegrem #502/S
of 9 June b and your #10855 of 22 June.
