Message No. 301.
Senator Dandurand tells me that the contract for building Stanislas College has just been signed. Estimates for the work, which will be finished by January 7, amount to about $210,000 to be paid in four instalments, of which $--- from the Province of Quebec will be paid when needed. On account of these commitments the senator would be very grateful if Your Excellency would speed up the contribution from France by agreeing to the following method of payment: $25,000 at the end of September and $25,000 at the end of December.
RISTELHUEBER.
