Conforming to the request of Senator Dandurand the payments from France will be hastened.
On the other hand Canon Mejecaze will leave (soon ?) for Canada. (His purpose is to learn ?) about the plans for the college and to enquire into questions concerning the administration, and the students. The department has promised Canon Mejecaze that under the circumstances the total subvention will be handed over to the college in the year in which it is granted. This will insure eventually that the needs and passage money of professors can be taken care of. Consequently Canon Mejecaze hopes to obtain at his meeting next --- a favourable decision concerning the disbursement of the $10,000.
