Olivet Baptist Church

Dublin Core

Title

Olivet Baptist Church

Subject

Olivet Baptist Church on the corner of de la Montagne and de la Gauchetiere

Description

The Olivet Baptist Church was the second location used by the United Union Church as a place to congregate. This was a big step for the church because it meant they were gaining enough participants and enough funds to afford the upgrade from the Welsh Dance Hall to the Olivet Baptist Church. This building no longer exists, but it was located almost exactly where the Bell Centre stands today.
