Description

Roger McTair has been a veteran of the Black Canadian film industry for years. He has worked with countless other directors including Claire Prieto and Jennifer Hodge de Silva. McTairs is known to hold great respect for his work and show passion in his projects. He has had many works under his belt, but he too is attached to the first real works of the Black Canadian Film industry. It is said that people would line up to see his works (Fainfair). He is significant because he worked on things like Journey to Justice which didn’t hold back on keeping Canada accountable, and gave voices to those who had theirs taken away. In his lifetime he left an impact by being one of the first and one of the most influential artists in his craft and his works will last forever as his legacy.
