Alucinaciones
Title
Alucinaciones
Description
Mexican composer Leonardo Coral wrote "Alucinaciones" for solo viola.
As stated in a blog, written in 2004, Alucinaciones "was dedicated to the Mexican violist Omar Hernandez-Hidalgo. The work consists of four movements: I-Mares [Phosphorescent seas], II-Abismos de fuego [Fire Abisms], III-Lunas de jade [Jade Moons], IV-Danza [Dance]. It is a very rhythmic and energetic work full of contrasts in terms of nuances, its movements are fast except for the third movement with a slow air."
