Palabras de Maderas
Title
Palabras de Maderas
Description
Venezuelan composer Mirtu Escalona-Mijares composed and dedicated "Palabras de Maderas" for Cyprien Busolini at the Fondation Suisse, Cité Interntionale Universitaire de Paris.
As written on the publisher's website: "Paris - France.Love, Peace, Tolerance, Respect, Conscience, -and a number of words that I unfairly do not quote- I imagine them sculpted in a material as beautiful as wood. An organic material that we can work and embellish, but also destroy and disintegrate completely. For me the viola has the noblest sound of all string instruments, and in this piece represents the human being in constant search of himself."
