Courage – Ours* : Par sa manière de vivre, l’ours nous offre de nombreuses leçons, notamment le courage. De nature plutôt douce, la mère ourse fait montre d’une férocité implacable quand un de ses petits est attaqué : elle illustre parfaitement le courage. Trouver la force mentale et morale pour surmonter les peurs qui empêchent l’esprit véritable de s’incarner, représente un défi de taille qu’il faut surmonter avec la même vigueur et la même intensité qu’une mère ourse protégeant son petit. Vivre en suivant son cœur et son esprit est certes difficile, mais l’exemple de l’ourse nous montre comment se tenir debout devant un danger pour atteindre ses objectifs.
Bravery – Bear* : “The bear gives us various lessons by his way of living, but the bravery is the primary teaching that it transmits. Its bravery occurs when the mother bear becomes a fierce animal in order to defend and protect her offspring. The bravery is also in every fight won or lost which prepare us for the next one. The carelessness and idleness weaken us and makes us unfit to fight. It requires for some to undergo some defeats before acquiring the strength and the bravery that will lead them to victory.”
