To Vichy (Colonies)
5 June 1944
FYI
For the COMPAGNIE GENERALE DES COLONIES, 282 --7m--
Paris.
"278. Communicated by MARET --0--.
"The date of the General Assembly has been noted.
"In consequence of a new and appreciable increase in
the coefficients of amortization for renewing supplies of
materials and equipment, we consider it not only prudent but
imperative to amortize the full amount (?authorized?), so as
to be able as soon as possible to renew the greater part of
the supplies and ward off the consequences and risks resulting
from the present situation.
"If this be granted, the distributable profits will be
out to 81090.25 plastres, which would allow of only 8% for
dividends, taking into account the amount brought forward from
1942. Let us know if you agree.
"The net attendance fee is 730 plastres.
"Production in April was 3355 hectograms; delivered to
SINR TAY, 2726. The plant is intact but stopped production
following a walkout by the personnel immediately after the air-
raid of 6 May. We do not know on what date resumption of work
will be possible.
"Signed, COBERAYE."
