Description

Obverse legend: ANTONINVS AVG(ustus) PIVS P(ater) P(atriae) TR(ibunicia) P(otestate) XXIIII, translation: Antoninus Augustus Pius, father of the country, with tribunician power for the twenty-fourth time; laureate head of Antoninus Pius facing right. Reverse legend: PIETATI AVG(usti) CO(n)S(ul) IIII S(enatus) C(onsulto), translation: To the piety of Augustus, consul three times, by decree of the senate; Pietas standing facing left, holding a child on each arm, a child stands on each side of her, at her feet, facing left and right towards her.
