Description

Obverse legend: D(ominus) N(oster) CONSTA-NS P(ius) F(elix) AVG(ustus), translation: Our Lord Constans, Dutiful and Fortunate Augustus; pearl diademed, draped, and cuirassed bust of Constans facing right, with A in left field. Reverse legend: FEL(icium) TEMP(orum) -REPARATIO, translation: The restoration of fortunate times; emperor in military dress holding Victory on a globe in his right hand and a labarum in his left, standing facing left on a ship facing left, with Victory sitting in the stern facing the bow and holding the rudder; A in left field; mint mark in exergue: TR with officina mark S. RIC VIII, p. 154, no. 243.
