Description
One wick discus lamp made with pale, reddish brown clay. Round body with a concave discus which features winged Victoria. The representation is indistinct, but the goddess faces forward, with impressions of wings on both sides. The discus is set off from the rim by three grooves and has one fill hole at the bottom left. Lamp has a short, wide nozzle that is rounded at the end. The nozzle has double volutes. Flat circular base set off by one groove. This description fits with the typology of Loeschcke type IV.
