Description
Rhys Tushingham: Ceramic disc with engraved symbols in a spiral pattern, made to replicate the Phaistos disc exhibited at the Heraklion museum (https://www.heraklionmuseum.gr/en/collections/#collections, accession number Π-Ν1358). Unlike the original, which is brown, the reproduction is black with green highlighting. "Made in Greece" imprinted on the reverse side. The reproduction only includes the engraved symbols of one side of the real Phaistos disc, which has symbols on both. The other side is solid black with a hold made for a string to hang, and a paper identifying it as a Phaistos disc replica from the Heraklion Museum.
